Waiting list

A cancellation should not cost you the booking

When somebody cancels, the spot does not have to stay empty. With a waiting list it goes straight to a customer who has already paid.

A customer told that a class is full, with the offer to join its waiting list, and beside it where she stands in the line and that an SMS follows when a spot opens.

The spot refills on its own

A cancellation in the evening is a spot nobody sees until the morning. The class runs one person short and you find out afterwards.

  • The class fills, the list opens. Nobody is turned away for good.

  • The spot goes out as soon as it frees. Not when you next check your phone.

  • You pick which classes have a list. The ones that fill, and no others.

A card over a boxing class saying the class is full, with a button to join the waiting list and a line under it saying a credit will be reserved.

Someone who has already paid

A waiting list is only worth having if the people on it turn up.

  • Waiting holds one of their credits. From the pack or membership they hold.

  • The credit comes back if the spot does not. Free to spend again the same day.

  • No credit, no place. Someone buying one class cannot wait.

Two cards over a spin class: one credit reserved and refunded if no booking follows, and the customer’s place in the line with the time she gets to confirm once the message arrives.

You choose what happens

A spot frees. What happens next is a setting, not a scramble.

  • Book the first person waiting. They wake up to a confirmed booking.

  • Or ask one person at a time. Each gets a window to answer.

  • Or offer it to everyone waiting. The first to take it gets it.

Three settings for a spot that frees: book the first person in line automatically, ask one person at a time, or send the link to everyone on the list at once.

Pick a plan, and that is what you pay

Questions about the waiting list

Yes. A place on the list is a held credit, so they hold one from a pack, membership or top-up while they wait. Someone buying a single class cannot join.
